Hell is freezing!
Pick up the devil's trident and try to unfreeze hell again in this puzzle platformer with a strong focus on punishing humans by poking them in the butt with your trident and throwing them into fire pits.
This game was made for the VimJam 3
game jam with the jam focus "Multi-use" and the theme "Turn up the heat". Thanks for playing the game, have fun, and feel free to comment.

The keyboard keys can be customized by clicking on them. They are not saved yet though and only work for the current play session.

I'm working on turning this game jam version into a proper game, but it will take some more time.
This game is awesome. The update has added lots of juice and challenge. I can't wait to see where this ends up.

Thanks! And yes, some of the puzzles seem to be super hard in the beginning but when it clicks for you and you understand how the tridents can work together it makes much more sense. If you finally find the solution then it feels pretty good :)

Seems really fun, and the art looks really nice!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play much because the ondulating backgrounds were making me nauseous :/. (Also, please, UP != jump)
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! I didn't even think about the background might be a problem for some. When the game jam is over I will add an option to disable the background and also some additional control options so everyone can enjoy the game :)
I updated the game to version 1.1. which includes and option to turn off the background distortion. If you want to give it another you should not get sick anymore :)
Really good, original and really fluently playing. Sound, visuals, all good! Begs for more levels :)
Love the concept. One of the more unique implementations of the theme. A buttery smooth experience.
I like it. Frustrating at times to figure out the puzzle, but I made it through and enjoyed it.
The animation and play style was good.
